Get Fit to Live Fit

Staying fit and eating healthy is the most important and much-needed step that should be taken by people all over the world. Eating healthy and working out does not necessarily mean that you are losing weight. By doing this you can also maintain your weight and stay healthy. Exercising is considered to be the best way to stay fresh, focused and alert at all times.

Michael R Barco says that Exercise is the key to fitness, it is a magic pill. Exercise not only helps you to stay fit but it also keeps you away from diseases such as cardiovascular, kidney, diabetes etc.

Exercising is a physical therapy that helps to keep your body safe and sound from extra fat, calories and any diseases that could interfere with the functioning of your body.

A beginner needs to research and take guidance from the people who are already working out and are eating healthy. This can help you to set your workout routine and your eating patterns depending on what you are looking forward to.

There are several things you can adopt to kick start your fitness regime. They include:

•    Walking

•    Skipping

•    Running

•    Gym

•    Biking

Etc. All of these activities can help you stay fit. However, the best way to kick start your fitness regime is to visit a gym. A gym has highly experienced fitness trainers. They can help you and guide you with what you should be doing.

Starting the gym or any other physical activity requires for you to stay committed if you’re looking forward to losing weight. If you are a beginner it might take some time for you to get used to all the training and cardio exercises. Even if you’ve done this before and are starting all of it again after a long time, it will still take time for you to get back to your routine.

Following are some of the tips and tricks that you need to keep in mind when starting your first day at the gym:

Day 1

•    The first and foremost thing to do when you start the gym is to make sure that you take a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated throughout your sessions. This can help you prevent all those painful muscle cramps that you might experience after your workout

•    When you visit the gym make sure to select a trainer who clicks with you and understands you. This will help the trainer to modify your workout session according to your requirements. This will lead to, you getting the required results in less time

•    If it is your first day in the gym the fitness trainer will only tell you to do some stretching and warm-up exercises that will prepare you for the coming days and the killing cardio sessions

Day 2

The second day is exciting yet you’ll also be feeling scared as today the trainer would ask you to start with the cardio routine. As you are starting the cardio session for the first time, the trainer always makes your start with the treadmill.

The trainer would advise ask you to run or walk on the treadmill for about 10-15 minutes. 10-15 minutes on the treadmill is a good starting point for beginners. When you are done with your walk do your everyday stretches and you can go home.

Day 3

Day 3 is the D day. On this day the trainer motivates you to join in the weight lifting and group cardio exercises. This is the most difficult day. After the exercise, you will feel your heart racing and you will be losing breath. You will feel your muscles pumping like crazy and you won’t be able to move properly either. But this will all be worth it when you achieve your goal.

You will be doing exercises like:

•    Squats

•    Crunches

•    Jumping jacks

•    Planks

•    Push-ups

•    Bodyweight squats

Etc.

The best way to overcome this is to take a hot shower and relax your muscles.

Day 4

Your trainer would be introducing you to the dumbbells now.

Dumbbells are mainly for arm exercises and they are fun. You will feel the heat and the pain running through your arms but the exercises are fun.

The trainer will set your routine. One day you will be doing your leg workout, the next will be for your arms and upper body and so on. It will take some time for you to settle in with the routine but it is always worth it. The key to this is consistency. If you are consistent in what you are doing it is evident that you will always achieve your goal. Exercising and eating healthy are the two things that you need to add to your lifestyle as they will help you stay in perfect shape always.
