There you will visit Manikaran Gurudwara, Shiv Temple, Ramchandra Temple, and many more small ancient temple complexes. The Barshaini is also a picturesque place surrounded by lush green forests and mountains. There are some restaurants, guest houses and also there you can find medical shops in Barshaini.

By Road
Kasol is well connected to all major cities via Delhi and Chandigarh through road route. There are two options to reach Kasol, one is from Delhi and another is from Chandigarh to kasol.
Chandigarh to kasol
- The distance between both is 285.5 km and requires 8-9 hrs drive to reach.
Delhi to Kasol
- The distance between Delhi and Kasol is 517 km and it requires 12 hrs to reach.
It is the best way to reach. From Delhi and Chandigarh, there are several options available in terms of road transportations, for example, government bus, private bus, private tourist cab services.
By Train
The nearby railway station is Chandigarh. This railway station is well connected with all major railway stations in India. After reaching there, you can continue your journey by bus or hire a private taxi.
By Air
The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport. It is the only airport in the Kullu District. It is well connected by all major airports via Delhi. There are flights from Delhi on a regular basis. The distance between Bhuntar and Kasol is 30 km so it will require an hour’s drive to reach Kasol from Bhuntar Airport.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to is from April to June and September to early December. During the winter you can also experience this trek but sometimes it may happen that due to heavy snowfall this trek remains closed. In the monsoon, this area receives heavy rain so it is not recommended.
