But, when you reset your doorbell you have to de-link it from the Mobile App and in this case if you have videos saved on your phone then those videos will be lost. So, always backup all the videos to an external memory device before you start resetting your Ring video doorbell.

Removing the Ring Device from App
- The first thing you have to do is to open the Ring App.
- Now, click on Ring doorbell and go to setting at the right hand side of the screen.
- Select the remove device option.
- You would get a Pop up; you just have to click on “Delete”.
- Once you press the delete button, your Ring doorbell gets removed from the App.
Now, since you have removed the Device from the App, it’s time to hard reset the ring device.
Steps to hard reset ring video doorbell
- Check for the orange button which is there on the back of the ring doorbell.
- You have to keep the button pressed for more than 15 seconds.
- Now, release the button, you will see that light at the front of the doorbell starts flashing. This indicated that the doorbell is being reset.
- Be patience and wait. The resetting of doorbell might take more than 5 minutes. Don’t press any button while the rind doorbell is being reset.
