The sound card or the audio module which are available at apextronic including those embedded on motherboard in that we are having two types of connectors analog and digital. An audio module that is additionally referred to as sound module is an internal growth card that gives input and output audio signal to and from a laptop in restraint of computer programs.

Sound functionality can also be integrated onto the audio motherboard using component similar to those which are found on plug-in cards. The sound or audio module is often referring as sound card. Sound processing hardware is also present on modern video card with HDMI to output sound along with the video using that connector. Some very high end motherboard are also there which does not have audio section inbuilt in them but then it is having one audio card which comes along with the product. Which is also providing very good quality of the sound and does not make much difference.

Analog connectors which will usually be having jacks of 3.5 mm allows you to connect you sound card which is embedded in the motherboard directly to the speakers which is referred as analogy speaker sand this is considered to be the very cost effective way to connect the PC with the speakers.

And when it comes to Digital connection which is also called as SPDIF which is also called as (Sony/Phillips Digital Interconnect Format) can be found in two flavours coaxial (using a mono RCA connector) or optical (using a connector called to slink). In digital connections which allows you to connect your sound card to the home theatre.
