No matter how we think the future, it will definitely be technological.
Innovation can change beyond recognition and the world, and ourselves.
However, it can be said with confidence that the goal of all inventions is to make our life more comfortable.
We have collected 07 technologies that will help make our lives easier.
07 future technologies
Fast robots
There is no doubt that in the near future, robots will surround us: as assistants, pets, perhaps friends and even partners. Not so long ago, scientists have created robots that are able to maintain balance, to walk and run on uneven and unstable surfaces. Such robots are more suitable for adaptation to our human environment. Of course, this is a step forward towards our future coexistence with robots.
Neuromorphic chips
Do you know that the human brain is the most perfect processor in the universe we know of? He is able to process information at the speed of light, without spending a lot of energy (and occupying almost no space). Neuromorphic engineering is an attempt to imitate the functions of the human brain. Scientists have created an artificial data processing system, which consists of small boards that play the role of neurons in our brain. In terms of power, size and energy consumption, the technology is comparable to the human brain. The development of neuromorphic chips will help create an ultra-fast and ultra-efficient processor that smartphones, computers, and possibly robots will use.
Organic radical accumulator
Smartphones have become our closest friends, every year they become more and more powerful. Their main drawback is the battery life, which is reduced in parallel with the development of capacity. Organic radical (ORB) battery is approaching a solution to this problem. Similar batteries appeared in 2005. So far, they are not available for the mass consumer, but work on this technology like home security cameras is already nearing the moment when the miracle batteries finally begin to be sold. The basis of such a battery – polymers of organic radicals, flexible plastic, which is able to replace the usual metal batteries. Solid organic radicals are converted to gel and mixed with the carbon base. Ultra-thin ORB will be a much more powerful alternative to today’s lithium-ion batteries.
Hyperloop Vacuum Train
The idea of creating such a train has been in the air for many decades, until Elon Musk decided to bring it to life. Hyperloop (in translation from English – “hyper-loop”) is a whole transport system, where capsules on air bags transport passengers through low pressure (almost in vacuum) at a speed of about 1000 km / h. At first it was supposed that the capsules would seem to float at the expense of compressed air, but now magnetic levitation technology is considered more relevant. Technically, this is all possible, the question at the moment is only how to make this development cheaper to implement. When (and if) the financial side of the issue is resolved, you can expect a high-speed, quiet, autonomous, and safe road to emerge — the transport system will lie either above ground or underground.
VR headset
Virtual reality is not new to anyone, but in 2016 there was a sharp leap in the development of VR technologies . Not only the gaming industry, but also social networks, the media industry and many others have started talking about VR – everyone sees great promise in virtual reality. No doubt, VR technologies will literally pour into our, not virtual reality, and only the lazy ones will not adapt them to fit their business needs.
Unmanned cars
Self-driving cars – perhaps the most anticipated technology in the world. Millions of people are dying in accidents caused by the human factor, namely drunk driving, inattention and irresponsibility. Unmanned vehicles rid the road of fools.
Despite the already existing unmanned vehicles, technology still needs improvement in order to become truly revolutionary. For example, Google unmanned cars show controversial results during testing. When these robot cars learn how to make optimal decisions on the roads, then a real breakthrough will happen.
3D printing
3D printing is a technology with inexhaustible potential. Doctors use it to print implants, astronauts create tools right in orbit, using a 3D printer, you can build an unmanned aircraft or even a house. It is unlikely that the possibilities of 3D printing will be limited to this. Most likely, in the near future we will be able to print anything at all, without leaving your home computer.
